Should you pass away before the end of your contract, the accumulated value of the annuity, including interest, or the minimum guaranteed contract value (whichever is greater), will be passed to your beneficiary without any charges or fees.

At the end of the contract term, you'll be able to withdraw the money invested, reinvest it in another fixed annuity, or turn it into guaranteed income via annuitization. If you do nothing, any money left in the contract will receive a renewal rate each year but you will have access to your funds at any time with no charges. Any withdrawals made before you turn 59½ (other than rollovers to an IRA) will be charged a 10% penalty by the IRS.
