The Cash Surrender Value will be paid as
a lump sum or via any of the other annuitization options available to the designated
beneficiary(s) (unless the spouse was named as joint owner, in which case the policy
and its provisions may continue).

At the end of the contract term, you'll have a 30-day window where you'll be able to withdraw the money invested, reinvest it in another fixed annuity, or turn it into guaranteed income via annuitization before it will renew at a new rate for another guarantee period. Surrender Charges and MVA will restart. State Variations may apply. Renewal rates for subsequent guarantee periods will be based on competitive current interest rates and financial circumstances, and is guaranteed to be no less than the guarantee minimum interest rate of 1.00%.
